Phase 2: Clear construction site for runway and parking lot
Completed by Dee Hadfield, Project manager for Utah State University
Jerry Law checked with Dixie Escalante about bringing the power from the radio tower to the site. The distance from the tower to the site is 775Ft. The minimal cost is between $4000-5000 for the transformer and the installation, or maybe we can get it for less.
Secondary water from sewer plant, free. All we have to do is buy and run the pipe. The water is low volume with 80lb. Pressure. That will run the rain-birds.
Jerry is trying to get in contact with the parks dept. to find where we can make the hook-up.
Culinary water would have to be piped from sewer plant (too big a project).
Restroom facilities: will have to be port-a-potties for now and in the future will have to dig a septic tank and that will require permission from the city.
City Council-April 19th-to approve the site, and what the city is willing to do to complete the runway.
Jerry met with Barry Barnum on water problems.
Vote on the new field was made, approved and seconded.
