Minutes of Meeting 05/03/07

Previous minutes read and corrected to read as follows “vote on new field location and to expend club funds as needed for construction upon approval of club officers was made seconded and passed”. Minutes approved as amended.

Treasurers report - $27071.71 in the bank.

Bill Boice handled the renewal of the LLC corporate yearly fees, put Dennis Church on the mailing notice for the renewal and informed the CC club of steps to take to reinstate their LLC. Bill paid all costs as a donation to the club.

New field report by Jerry Law—
Pipe for irrigation water purchased and partially installed. Installation halted upon advice of City.

Hiatus in construction is to allow City Council to examine the site and plan for other uses to reduce conflicts down the road. Working meeting of the Council scheduled for May 10, 07 – two club representatives to work with the Council in an attempt to resolve any issues.

Overall estimate of Jerry Law is that the proposal is still a go project and that this is just a minor setback.

Field insurance was renewed with AMA. When we get the new field it will have to be amended to reflect the new location.

Club website – Larry Banner is working on it. Voted to pay his bills of $126.49 – more later..

Eddie Chandler son-in-law is working on a grant application for funds to pay for the new field.

Overnight Floats and Boats at Sand Cove scheduled for May 18 & 19. Everyone responsible for their own food and special hydrating fluids.

Fun Fly CD’d by Robbie June 2nd at the old field – club to provide the meat and BBQ potluck for the rest (Authorative rumor has it that Lorin is driving the roads after dark looking for fresh roadkill).

There was a great impromptu junkyard contest during the meeting Darryl Jensen blew everyone else away with his design. Ya’ll gotta think outside the box….
