There was no official meeting this month because President Michael Jensen asked if we would meet at the flying field to help setup for the Jet Rally. We had 15 club members that responded to help. A special thanks to Michael and Jake Huston who brought out their own blower equipment to help clean off the flight line and landing area. If you haven’t helped with setup and teardown to prepare for a flying event, if possible you might what to volunteer next time to see what is involved.
For those of you that were not able to attend the Jet Rally you missed a great event. There was a wide variety of turbine and electric aircraft. A beautiful cross section of early and late military along with modern designed turbine planes. Again thanks to Dan Johnson and any others who helped unselfishly at the gate and impound area.
